Policy and Advocacy
We cannot fulfill our mission until every child has equal opportunities to succeed
That’s why the South Side Early Learning team advocates on behalf of children and families at the local, state and federal level to improve the environments in which children live, learn and grow.
SSEL partners with state advocacy organizations to pass legislation related to young children and families. Our experts sit on policy committees that shape early learning policies. The research and practice done in our schools are used to help inform best practices in legislation. We invite local, state and federal policymakers to our school to see the benefits of investing in holistic, high-quality early childhood education first hand.
